QUESTION 1: WHAT IS AN ENDORSED MIDWIFE?

Endorsed Midwives are privately practising midwives with additional training to prescribe & order medications, tests & scans relating to pregnancy, birth & up
to 6 weeks post birth. We work in collaboration with GP/Obstetricians to ensure women & babies have optimal heath outcomes.

✨MEDICARE AND HEALTH FUND REBATES AVAILABLE✨

QUESTION 2: CAN I HAVE A HOME BIRTH WITH DANI THE MIDWIFE?

Unfortunately, Not at this time. Dani the Midwife is unable to offer a birthing service. Dani the Midwife may be able to be a birthing support person at your birthing hospital.

QUESTION 3: HOW MANY APPOINTMENTS WILL I NEED?

Dani the Midwife recommends at least 8 appointments during pregnancy, this can be tailored to your needs. Every labour, birth and postnatal experience is different & unique. Some women want one to two appointments post birth, other women want & need additional support e.g. every week for 5 or 6 weeks. This might be for feeding support, checking newborn growth & development as well as monitoring mum's healing & recovery. Support during the transition into the mother's new role is crucial whether you are a first time mum or navigating life with a newborn and toddler.

We need to nurture the mother in order for her to care for the family💖
